I was truly sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I met her during a visit to a friend in Richmond and she became an instant friend. May God give you comfort and strength during your time of grief.

To the family of Mrs Ruff, You have my condolences. I last talked to her in May, she was as usual showing concern and love because I had just lost my mother. I will always have my childhood memories of her. She was like an angel praising the Lord up and down Sixth Mount Zion Baptist Church isles. She blessed us with her singing. There will be no other like her and I constantly let her know this.

My deepest of sympathy goes out to the family. You may have lost a great love one, but her memories will be cherrished for many years to come. She was loved by all. I will always remember hanging out with Chris and going by to check on on Big Momma. So be strong Chris, she's God's angel now. I thought of her as my Big Momma too. She's only gone in body, but her spirit is still here. Cherrish it.

Truly, we were saddened to hear of the passing of Sister Carrie Ruff, but one thing we know, that mighty soldier of the Lord would not want to trade her blessed place in heaven with any one of us here on earth. There is not enough room on this paper that can tell of all the goodness and talents of this beautiful woman, who truly cared about the welfare of others, but please know that Sister Carrie Ruff has fought a good fight, she has finished her course, and she has kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for her a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give her at that day: and not to her only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

Deloris, Evelyn and Donald do not worry about Aunt Carrie. She went home. God was there to meet her and he took her home. There is no more suffering now. She is at home.

I AM SO SORRY ABOUT YOUR LOSS. SHE WAS A ROCK AND PILLAR, THE MATRIARCH OF THE FAMILY. I WILL ALWAYS HAVE FOND MEMORIES OF MS. RUFF. I REMEMBER HER LOOKING LIKE FARMER JOHN WHENEVER SHE WORKED HER YARD WITH THAT WIDE BRIM HAT AND THOSE OVERALLS. DAD DIED ON MY BIRTHDAY AND SHE DIED ON MOM'S BIRTHDAY. HOW IRONIC. TELL CHRIS TO BE STRONG AND MAY GOD GIVE YOU GREAT COMFORT AS HE GAVE ME WHEN DAD WENT TO BE WITH THE LORD. I HAD SUCH PEACE, IT WAS AS THOUGH DAD HAD GONE ON A VACATION AND THAT I WILL SEE HIM AGAIN. I COULDN'T EVER CRY ANYMORE BECAUSE GOD WIPED MY TEARS.

GOD BLESS EACH OF YOU.
