Catherine Oliff Obituary

OLIFF Catherine Sanford Oliff, 89, of Warsaw, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 19, 2006. Mrs. Oliff was a member of Rappahannock Baptist Church, and the widow of Stanley Ernest Oliff. She is survived by two sons, Stanley Ernest Oliff Jr., and James Albert Oliff; one daughter, Carolyn O. Sanders; one brother, Millard H. Sanford, all of Warsaw; two sisters, Mabel Harmon, Tappahannock, and Ida Mae Sanders, Warsaw. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Faye Pritchard, Paige Withers, Lisa Blatner, Todd Oliff, Kent Sanders, Steve Sanders; and seven great-grandchildren, Meghan Pritchard, Brandon Withers, Christopher Sanders, Garrett Withers, Kinsey Sanders, Carsen Grace Sanders and Jamie Blatner. She was preceded in death by her brother, James Edward Sanford. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, December 21, 2006 at Rappahannock Baptist Church, Newland. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. this evening at the Welch Funeral Home, Montross Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the Rappahannock Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Catherine Johnson, 788 Oak Row Road, Warsaw, Va. 22572.
