Catherine Szari Obituary

Catherine Gragnani Szari of Mechanicsville passed away September 27, 2003. She is survived by her husband, Lou Szari; son, Nicholas Szari; daughter, Annie Szari; mother, Anna Gragnani; two brothers, Joe Gragnani Jr. and Chris Gragnani; two sisters, Maria Schutte and JoAnn Boss; a sister-in-law, Mary Lou Spann; and a brother-in-law, Ed Szari. Mrs. Szari was a member of Hanover Art League, secretary for the Catholic Church of the Redeemer, a costumer at Theater Virginia, and taught at the University of Richmond. The family will receive friends 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday at the Catholic Church of the Redeemer, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 7:30 p.m. Monday. Family and friends will gather by 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Catholic Church of the Redeemer for a procession to Hanover Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Catholic Church of the Redeemer, 8275 Meadowbridge Rd., Mechanicsville, Va. 23116.
