Charlene Morgan-Carr

August 14, 1950 - August 5, 2025

Charlene Morgan-Carr passed peacefully on August 5, 2025. Charlene lived a life dedicated to serving God and others. She always brought laughter and joy wherever she went.

Charlene was predeceased by her parents, Lawrence E. And Juanita M. White; her brother, Reverend Patrick White, and sister, Juliana Pearson,

Charlene is survived by her daughter, Mary Hawkey (Tom); son, Sean Hancock (Nancy); her adored grandchildren, Dominic and Lauren Hancock; sister, Catherine Morgan (David); sister-in-law, Katherine White; brother-in-law, Sanford Pearson, and many loving nieces and nephews. She was known for her huge heart, kind spirit and devotion to Christ. Charlene has gone home to Heaven, and we look forward to reuniting with her again.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 14, 2025, from 4 to 5 p.m. at Kingsway Community Church, 14111 Sovereign Grace Drive, Midlothian, VA 23114, where a Celebration of life will follow at 5 p.m. The family asks that those in attendance if you can wear bright colors, to match the bright colorful life that Charlene led.
