Charles L. Wallace

Charles L. Wallace, 99, of Hopewell, Va., passed away on August 12, 2025. Born in Charleston, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Joseph and Donna Wallace. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife, Iva; brother, Elbert; and sister, Mary. Charles earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in theology and was proud to be an Ordained Elder in the Restored Hope Church of the Nazarene in Hopewell. He enjoyed being outdoors and playing golf and baseball. Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Paul (Johanne), David (Kim), and Dale (Pam); his grandchildren, Mahindra, Pal, Elan, Leanne, Sean, Drew, Dustin, Wade, and Josh; and eleven great-grandchildren. A funeral service for Charles will be held at First Baptist Church in Hopewell, Va., on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends one hour prior at the church, at 1 p.m. A graveside service will be held at Bermuda Memorial Park on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at 10 a.m. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com.
