Cindy Tenney Obituary
Cindy was a lifelong Richmonder with a heart for caring for others. She spent her childhood in the Fan before settling on Granite Ave, where she would make her home for the rest of her life.
Cindy began her career caring for the elderly before finding her true calling as a nanny. She spent 16 cherished years with the Warren family, helping to raise Bill and Sam alongside her late son Justin-becoming part of their family, and they part of hers. Cindy went on to share her boundless love with many more children and families before retiring.
Cindy is survived by her devoted husband Don, her partner of over 40 years, and her beloved grandson Ezra. She was preceded in death by her son Justin and her older brothers Ronnie and Kenny. She is also survived by her brother Mike, sister Janice, and several nephews and nieces who will carry her memory forward.
A celebration of Cindy's life will be held on Saturday, December 6th at 11:00 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church Richmond, VA. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Susan M. Markel Veterinary Hospital at the Richmond SPCA.

Cindy always had the best laugh. Whenever I talk to her on the phone, she always had a great time making fun of our past when we were little my sister and I and Cindy were inseparable. My mom and Ms. Bullard were great friends. We have a lot of memories of things that we did as families. I will always remember that great laugh rest in peace love and miss you.

When we lived on Robinson St. my sister Barbara &I were always at the Bullard´s house. My mom and her mom were great friends. I have wonderful memories even coming to Granite Ave. Sending hugs & prayers!

I remember Cindy from the Fan where we lived in our younger years ... Cindy was younger than me but always a sweetheart.
Sending love and prayers for God to keep Cindy in His arms with her son ... and to shelter her from pain and sorrow forever. May her smile live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
