RICHARDSON, Mrs. Clara, age 92, of Richmond, formerly of Goochland, departed this life October 27, 2021. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Janie A. Davis; and one grandson, Deveron L. Ellis. She is survived by two daughters, Yvonne Ellis and Lisa Phillips (Gary); one grandson, Dorian Ellis (Takeshi); two great-grandchildren, Xavier and Juniper Ellis; one brother, Lilburn Richard Reed Jr.; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; a devoted sister-in-law, Clara Elizabeth Ellis; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue, where Mrs. Richardson can be viewed Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and where funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. Dr. Gregory Fisher officiating. Rev. Russell Brown eulogy. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 10:45 a.m. Thursday.

To Yvonne Ellis and family. I found out Tuesday from Rev. Russell Brown about the passing of Mrs. Richardson. My deepest sincere sympathy to you all. I remember when I was a patient at MCV Hospital Mrs. Richardson was my Nurse. I know she will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her very much. May God Bless you all.
