As I was planning the funeral of my dear husband, George, here in Florida, I was informed that Cotton had passed away. George and I used to go out to lunch or dinner after Cotton's accident quite often and the men had a good time recalling their days together walking Civil War battlefields in Northern Virginia and beyond. Cotton always tried to be upbeat even after his accident and was always a pleasure to be around. He was a good, sincere friend of George's and will be missed by family and friends.
