Having worked with him at LakeWest for a number of years, I have such a deep respect for him. He was a dedicated, responsible hard worker. He loved his family so much and always talked about each and every one of you. You were his world.

Trisha,

You really inspired me when you got up in front of the Circuit City family. I can tell you loved David so much & your children were a big part of his life. My heart goes out to you & your family in this time. Hopefully, it gives you comfort that so many people from the Circuit City family were so very fond of David. My thoughts and prayers will be with you always.

Trisha,

It was such an honor to work for your husband. He was so proud of his family and his work. He was always a voice of reason no matter what was happening. I am so sorry for your loss. It was so brave of you to get up and speak those kind words about Dave to all of CC. I know he is extremely proud of you. Dave was great to work with, his smile, level headedness, funny scarcastic one liners will be missed greatly. My deepest condolences and prayers go to you and your family.

Trisha, what an incredible person you are to be able to get up in front of hundreds of people at Circuit City's corporate headquarters and speak about David's fun-loving life and his thoughts about the employees at Circuit City. It is such an honor for me to work at the same company as David.

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to you and your family during this time of loss. May you somehow find inner peace knowing how much love David had for you and the children, as it certainly came though in your most sincere comments. You will forever remain in my thoughts and prayers.

God bless,

Dave was the most decent person that you could ever hope to meet and was the kind of guy that was always happy. You couldn’t tell if Dave was having a good day or a bad day because he was always wearing a smile, so he probably didn’t have many bad days. No matter how much work was being piled on (and he got more than his share), he never seemed worried or overwhelmed. He was the kind of level headed person that makes a good leader. And this is only what I knew of him at work. At home, I imagine that he was the kind of Dad that would come home and go right into playtime with his four kids (whose pictures he proudly displayed on his desk). I can see the kids bouncing on him and Dave smiling the whole time.

Dear Tricia and the rest of the Coffman family,

My deepest sympathies and heart goes out to all of you for your tragic loss in David. I worked together with David for a short time at LakeWest Group several years ago; though our interaction was brief, I have such fond memories of him. He was a genuine person, friendly and interested in others.

My favorite discussions with him were during the time when Tricia was expecting their first child, David, and immediately after his birth. He took such joy in his new family and embraced fatherhood fully -- his face would just light up at any mention of Tricia and David. David's latest picture was always displayed proudly on his desk.

I hope that your family can find some comfort or peace in each other during this difficult time.

Sincerely,

Jessica Worny Janicki
