David Farrow Obituary

FARROW, David R, 63, of Mechanicsville, passed away on September 15, 2022, after a 14 month battle with leukemia. He was preceded in death by his father, James R. Farrow; and his beloved dachshund, Yogi. He is survived by his wife, Whitney; sons, Zachary (Suzanne) and Shane (Lyndsey); and grandchildren, Addison and Jackson. Family was important to David, and he was proud of his sons. He also loved to cook, work in his garden, play golf and fish on his boat. David loved to make people laugh and be a prankster. There will be a private Celebration of Life this fall, and his ashes will be spread in his favorite fishing spot.

My heart has hurt upon learning about the passing of Dave. We were coworkers and he was my buddy. We shared many laughs together and I could always count on him as being a true friend. I find comfort only in knowing that he is now with Yogi again. I am so sorry Whitney and I will continue heavily to pray for you and your family.

A fond memory of Dave for me was our three man country band where he was our lead singer and John and I played guitars. Though we never had a gig, we sure wanted one. Sing to the angels Dave, Chris

Glad our paths crossed. David was such a nice and funny person. He leaves behind a great family that we have become very fond of. May he rest in peace and the wonderful memories always bring smiles.
