I am David´s son-in-law. I am very thankful I was able to see him for his last Christmas. I am also very thankful for his close friends that took care of him in Mississippi and Virginia. I think about David and them very often.

Hi, this is David Bradley, David's great-nephew. He was the greatest great-uncle I will ever know. I cannot think of anything negative he said or did in my memory of him. I can remember in Dollywood, sitting in the rocking chair on the patio of the house we rented, staring out into the beautiful Tennessee landscape. I cannot express how upset I was when I heard the news. I look forward to spending time with Jesus and David. I love you so much, Great-Uncle David.

Robin
You probably don't remember me, but we were friends and neighbors with your parents in Meadowgate. We lived in the 2 story house when you came out of Meadowgate. We had a lot of good times there with friends like Rick Rust, etc. You may remember my daughters (Kim and Kathy) but you were younger than they were. Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of your father. You had good parents and I know you are aware of that.
Sending prayers to you as you go through this journey.

Mr Jones, I have felt you were a brother to me and the great times we had at Scooter's, Daytona Bike Week, Easy Riders in Wilson and just dropping by and shooting the breeze at your house with you and Jean and Charlie. I'm glad you are not in any pain any more and looking forward to seeing you on the other side. Love you Brother.

David, Man what a great friend you were to me. We've babbled back and forth since 1954 creating a lasting friendship. Seeing decline in the past couple of years wasn't pleasant. I was truly honored to care for you at my home with the help of Hospice who I will say did a wonderful job. You were a good man and I know you are at peace..

My deepest sympathy to David's family. I worked with David at Shelby Mutual Insurance Company many years ago and also with Jean's sister-in-law, Lila Hicks. May your wonderful memories bring you comfort.
