Man how time is flying... Everytime I go to richmond and drive pass the greyhound bus station I think of you. Every summer u would pick me up from there and I was so excited to see you.. My favorite cousin.. No one can replace our relationship... Sometimes its hard to come around because I know u aren't there but I know with trusting in the lord that everything is going to work out... I can always see your face with those pretty eyes just glaring at me... I miss you and always will. Sometimes the tears are for good and bad reasons but we as a family will stick together..... Hey deon, I thought it was time that I stop by n say helllo. As I sit and look at your obituary I still try n swallow the fact that u r truly gone. Every time I hear music I run to door only to remeber its not u. Your time on earth u touched so many people heart and mezmarized many with those eyes. so u know Dreona talks to my son and Dre I cant seem to get ride of. lol! Football for him is going well he plays for the midgets and they are 2-0 you would be proud of him. Well im going for now talk to u soon.

It is so Crazy how life is! "One minute we are here the next minute we are gone!" Deon I know I can't tell you personally but you are so missed so much! I know if I miss you half as much as I do then your fiance, son and family must be lost. I had a dream the other day I was like I have heard from my homeboy Deon in a minute and then like a slap in the face I remembered! I can't believe he's gone. Just another reminder that life is so short. His pretty eyes definitely charmed a lot of people in his short span of life and he will be truly missed. My heart goes out to his family and especially his girl and son because Lord knows I wouldn't know what to do if I was in her position. But his sister pulled up at his homegoing service blastin his set just like he would've wanted; Made me cry because it was almost like it was him in the driver's seat. Love you Deon....RIP

To have to say goodbye when u never thought u would must be the hardest thing we go thru in life. To Tyanne I don't kno u but I am a mother of a 4 yr old and he loves his father as his best friend. So to have to explain this situation to him would tear me to peices. All I can say is don't be angry with God because he holds a master plan. Something our mind will never understand. Let your tears flow to God and never hold back. Let him comfort u and be your Rock. Deon was a good person. But he will be even better with God. Let your heart not be troubled, but trust in the Lord with all that's in you.

To the Jackson family I'm sorry for your loss. I coached Deon years ago at Varina, Deon & Dede were inseparable. I have good memories of him. I recently made contact with him out at Glen Lea. It made me feel good as a coach to see him grow to a good young man. I would see him everyday bringing the little ones to practice. I just saw him Friday evening at the store. He will be missed but he's in a better place. Have faith in God HE will get you through this.

deon as i sit here i try to find the words to express how i feel. you were a young intelligent and caring young man that always put family first. you had a heart filled with lots of love and you found a way to share it with others. since i got that call things just haven't been the same. the thought of not seeing that beautiful smile and those pretty eyes hurts. i find myself looking out the window at the sound of music only to see its not you. i can ask god why but that would be selfish of me. he say we are only here for a season and that our days here on earth is numbered. god says to you job well done for he has called yet another angel home. i won't think of this as a homecoming but as a celebration of a young man that lived life to the fullest.

Where do I begin? It is so sad that such a young man has to die from such a senseless death.
