Donald Haden Riddick

Donald Haden Riddick, 51, of Richmond passed away Friday, October 17, 2003 after a brief battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his father, George P. Riddick Jr. Survivors include his wife, Tracye Beard Riddick; and their son, William Obed Riddick; his son, Donald Haden Riddick Jr. and his wife, Kolleen; and his two grandchildren, Briglia and Maddox; his mother, Flora Haden Riddick; his sister, Rebecca "Becky" Lane and her husband, Tom; his brother, George P. Riddick III; and his brother, Robert "Bobby" Riddick and his wife, Rhonda; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Donnie was an honor student and athlete at Douglas Freeman High School and graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in Finance. He was best known for his friendly personality, creative energies, and his kind and gentle spirit. His family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. on Sunday at the West Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 11020 West Broad Street, where funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday. Interment will be in Westhampton Memorial Park.
