Auntie Doris I wish you was here with us.But, like they say be carefull for what you wish for, so since your in a much better place then we are i pray that you look over us and send your blessings down too us as we send our prayers up too you.Looking at you in your castic was painfull before and doing the funneral.I had never seen that church so pack with people,so you know that you was somethin special.Standing on the side of the curve with flowers in my hand and watching them put you in the back of the car, then just by looking at that i knew this was the real deal, your in piece. And as much as i hate my feet i'm glad that they looked like yours. When i found out that you were dieing it was like I got shot in the heart but it was the same day when i found out that i made the cheering squad.Love you ad miss you wish you was here >>

Doris, no farewell words were spoken, no time to say goodbye, you were gone before I knew it and only God knows why.My heart still ache in sadness, and secret tears still flow, what it meant to lose you no one will ever know. When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure. I know you are in God's hands now, no more pains, no more sickness,If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'll walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.I love you my sweet, sweet Doris and I miss you so very much, you were more than my sister, you were my BEST FRIEND, rest in peace, your big sis Mae

"GLAMOUR GIRL"

December 9, 2008

I'm wishing sincere condolences to my family, and friends of our family, we will all miss my Auntie Doris. She provides us with so much, the importance of education, hardwork, family and safety. Loud or physical she is not, but definitely strong. I say this all in the present tense because, yeah, she's no longer here with US, but through me & you she lives forever. I'm not sure of her exact role in your life but know that God blessed you with her presence. So as my Auntie Doris would say, she's ok, yall be strong for eachother and most of all, always keep God first and remember the power of prayer. Thanks for everything and your "Glamour Girl" Misses You Auntie Doris and I Love You.
