Douglas M. Kunkel Sr.

KUNKEL, Douglas M., Sr., 74, of Moseley, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 27, 2022. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Belinda Kunkel; children, Douggie Kunkel, Erin Kmetz (Jeff) and Sarah Perrot (Brandon); six grandchildren, Genesis, Andrew, Kayla, Sadie, Anna and Blake; and two great-grandchildren, Hazel and Maury; siblings, Lorine Snyder, Lawrence Kunkel, Shirley Marano, Linda Stoph, Sharon Osterbind, David Kunkel, Millie Buchanan and Timmy Kunkel; mother-in-law, Ilene Rutherford; and his sister in-law, Arlene Kunkel. A multitude of other family and friends have also shared in Doug's life. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 (tonight) at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church, 18100 Genito Rd., Moseley, Va. 23120, where his funeral ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 3, 2022. Interment will be in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to the General Fund at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church.
