Dwayne Whitt Obituary
Dwayne served in the Gulf war for 13 years as a Sergeant in telecommunications. Dwayne and his wife Arlene were stationed in Stuttgart, Germany in June 1987 for six years. Dwayne was a strong, incredibly hilarious, hard working and loving man. Dwayne's favorite things to do were enjoying his family's company, playing with his two grandchildren, catching up with old army friends and hitting up the pool on a hot summer's day.
He leaves behind his wife, Arlene Maywalt Whitt; son, Dwayne Whitt Jr.; and wife, Holly Carol Whitt; daughter, Danielle Whitt; granddaughter, Isla; grandson, Cooper; brothers, Marc Whitt and Barry Whitt; and beloved dog, Huggy.
A celebration of life for Dwayne Whitt Sr. was held at The Highlands Reserve on June 26, 2022 from 2 to 5 p.m. Instead of flowers the family is asking for donations in the name of Dwayne Jay Whitt Sr. to Us Against Alzheimer's Organization.

I knew Dwyane from the "old neighborhood". Fun to be around and pretty athletic as I remember. Thanks for his service from an Air Force vet. Had some good times back in the day.

I served with Dwayne in the 50th Signal at Fort Bragg in the early 80's and the early 90's. He was a good soldier and a good non-commissioned officer. I'm sincerely saddened by his passing.
