NEAL, Edward Anderson, 82, of Bluffton, S.C., formerly of Richmond, passed away March 4, 2024. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Bishop Neal; two sons, Stephen Neal and his wife, Lainey and David Neal; and four grandchildren, Stephen Jacob "Jake" Neal, Haley Neal Gilliam and her husband, Austin, John Henry "Hank" Neal and Wellington "Wells" Hunt Neal. Mr. Neal was a graduate of the University of Virginia (1968) and Radford University (1972). He was a guidance counselor at J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College and Thomas Dale High School. An avid tennis player, he coached high school tennis after retiring. He never met a stranger. There will be a private service in Richmond, Va. for family and close friends.

We are so sorry to read Ed´s obituary in this morning´s newspaper. We enjoyed eating dinner with Ed and Virginia many times at Angela´s Italian Restaurant in Richmond and seafood restaurants in Hilton Head after the moved to SC. We are thinking of Virginia, Steve and David at this sad time.
