I met Madeline in 1989 through the Richmond BBS community and have many happy memories of her. A kind and generous soul who loved young people and shared her home with us, hosting BBS gatherings and annual lamb roasts. Madeline adored her dogs and gave a wonderful home to one of my puppies from my first Havanese litter, Susie. Madeline was a good friend...and will be missed.

I am so very sorry to hear this news. I knew Bunny through Walter and Florence Bearden, who were neighbors of my great uncle and aunt, Melvin and Claire Carter in Asheville. I last spoke with her a few months ago, not long after my mother, Nancy (Gordon) Tuggle died, when she shared some fond and funny memories with me. Bunny's was a rare, irrepressible, lively spirit, the likes of which I never expect to see again. How very sad for us all.

Dear Chichester Family,
Bunny's coworkers from MCV have all been saddened by the news of her passing. They are all wondering if there will be a memorial held for her? Please contact me if you have any information I can pass along to them. Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.

This is such a loss for all who knew Bunny. I was priviliged to have her as a beloved patient for many years. She had so many fascinating stories and I always enjoyed time spent with her. She often spoke of finding the color in a gray situation. I am thinking of that often during this sad time.

Dear Walter and Diehl family, dear Jim and Cameron and family, dear Jim and Robin and family, dear Lana and family, and dear all of Bunny's other cousins, family members, and many, MANY friends:
A friend of mine emailed me on Sun 30 Aug 2009 and said there was a CHICHESTER listed in the obituaries and wondered if I was related. I immediately went online and found the notice of Bunny's death. I regret I did not know sooner.
Bunny loved, and was so fond and proud of you ALL. She felt so blessed to have you in her life.
I wanted you to know that each of you are, and will continue to be, in my thoughts and prayers.
Please accept my heartfelt condolences.
With sympathy,
Mary
