Frances Addison Obituary

ADDISON, Frances Clarke Little "Bunny", passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and lifted up in prayer, on February 20, 2022. Born on November 21, 1941 in Richmond, Va., to Frances Clarke Hyman and Charles Malcolm Little Jr., she was preceded in death by her parents; and stepfather, Haywood Blount Hyman; and brother, C. Malcolm Little III. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Edward Churchill Addison "Ned"; daughters, Anne Clarke Lagarde (Paul), Martha Meade Weaver and Lucy Page Williams (Lang); 10 grandchildren, Paul Lagarde Jr. (Anna Paden), Page Lagarde Kuenstle (Andrew), Addison, Grafton and MiMi Lagarde, Grace, Edward and Charles Weaver and Harrison and Randolph Williams; siblings, Barbara Little Alexander (Burt), Mary Carter Hyman, Huddy Hyman (Claudette), Clarke Hyman, Anne Parker Gottwald (Teddy), Lewis R. Little, Lloyd T. Little (Tracy) and Liza Little Roberts. Bunny graduated from Marymount High School in 1959 and the University of Maryland in 1963. She was known for her love of painting, gardening and sewing. Bunny loved the Lord and serving others. She was a devout member and volunteer at St. Bridget Catholic Church and volunteered weekly, before her illness, at the Virginia Home. Bunny loved her family and friends and was well-loved by others. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 23, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Bliley's - Central, 3801 Augusta Ave. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, February 24 at 11 a.m. at St. Bridget Catholic Church and a reception in the Commons will follow. The funeral will be livestreamed at Blileys.com. A private family burial will take place at Hollywood Cemetery later that day. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Virginia Home ([email protected]) or St. Bridget Catholic Church (Richmond, Va).
