July 6, 1958 - December 4, 2024
Mr. George W. Kerney of Richmond, VA, a native of Halifax , N.C, oldest son of Viola Kerney-Tyler and William "Buddy" Kerney, passed peacefully at home on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 with his family at his side. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, sister, Debra; and son, Darwin. He is survived by wife, Laura Kerney; brother, Thomas Kerney; sisters, Margaret and Rebecca Kerney, Victoria Macon; daughters, Sharvon, Shaneka (Thaddious) and Kristie; six grandchildren; niece, Raven; nephew, Tyrese and a host of family and friends.
Remains rest at March Funeral Home 2110 E. Laburnum Ave. Viewing Saturday December 14, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Funeral service 1:00 p.m. Monday December 16, 2024. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery.
