Gregory Hailey Obituary
Gregory Hailey, 63, of Goochland, VA (formerly of Philadelphia, PA) transitioned from this life on Thursday, February 20, 2025. He was a beloved husband of over 40 years to Sybil Hailey and father, grandfather, and brother who was cherished deeply by family and friends.
His remains rest at the Robert Mealy Funeral Home, 2530 Dogtown Rd, Goochland, VA where a viewing will be held from 1 to 7 p.m., on Thursday February 27, 2025. A Celebration Of Life will be held on Friday, February 28, 2025 at 11 a.m., at Jerusalem Baptist Church, 994 Three Chopt Rd, Manakin Sabot, VA.

To my cousin Sybil, children and grandchildren my deepest and sincere heartfelt condolences to all of you. Your husband, father, grandfather has left a legacy of service, faith, kindness and perseverance. May you cherish all he poured into you by honoring his memory by the example he modeled each day. May God give you strength and comfort to navigate life without his physical presence but in remembrance of his teachings. I love you all and I am available to listen, talk, cry and reflect with you all. God is your refuge and strength.. Hallelujah!

Wow, when I heard this news it blew me away. After talking with you not too long ago, especially pur time at PennDOT it is just beyond imagination. I find comfort in knowing you have transitioned from the land of the dying resting comfortably awaiting to enter in the eternal land of the living. Not only were you my dear friend, you were like my brother. Rest well until we meet up again!
