From when I joined the Firm in 1989 and for the decades that followed Guy was a towering friend and colleague. We talked law, firm culture and a whole lot of politics. He was all class. Whenever we passed in the hallway or elevator he would call out "Fuhr" and I would call out "Tripp" and we would discuss the latest. I will miss him and my heart goes out to the family in your time of loss. Godspeed, Tripp.

My Tripp was one of the coolest guys I know. Everytime I used to see him either coming from the parking garage or in the office, he was always pleasant. It's funny because when I see him, I would call him " my guy" lol. I will also add that I had the pleasant of seeing MR. Tripp before his and chopping it up with. He was actually one of my patients that I transported before and after his operation. It was totally unexpected to see him that day, but I'm glad that I did. It was definitely a true blessing in itself. @HelenTripp and famliy, my condolences to you all.

Guy and Helen were next door neighbors before moving to their present residence. I built a large carport along an adjoining fence to house a vintage vehicle. On a cold and windy March day, my wife called me at work with the bad news that the structure has been blown into Guy´s back yard. It took me several days to muster the courage to address the problem with him. With a strong drink in hand, I knocked on the door. Guy greeted me in his usual chipper way, invited me in, sweetened my drink, and asked the purpose of my
visit. I shamefully confessed that my carport was lying in his backyard. Feigning disbelief, he suggested we take a look. After turning on the outside light he exclaimed: "Well your carport is certainly in my back yard and it is nicely covering the Christmas tree I threw out the back door!" He continued: " Why don´t we leave this mess until Spring time, and let´s have another drink."What a fine gentlemen and neighbor. RIP Guy!
