Remains rest at March Funeral Home, 2110 E. Laburnum Ave. where visitation will be held Thursday, January 25, 2024 from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Funeral Service, 1 p.m. Friday, January 26, 2024 at Fourth Baptist Church, 2800 P St, Richmond, VA 23223. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations to support educational programs and operations of The Black History Museum & Cultural Center of Virginia are appreciated.

Gwen and I were classmates at VSC/VSU and shared many great memories as members of the marching band. I enjoyed seeing her, during VSU homecomings. We kept in contact via Facebook, and she will be missed. May the God of love and hope bless and sustain the family.
