Irene Kannow Ritchie

Irene Kannow Ritchie, 97, of Richmond, formerly of Benkelman, Neb., went to be with her Lord, Tuesday, January 27, 2004. She was predeceased by her husband of 58 years J. Wayne Ritchie and one grandson, Thomas W. Ritchie. She is survived by two sons, Warren Ritchie and his wife, Janice of Richmond and Gary Ritchie and his wife, Gweneth of Lincoln, Neb.; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Caroline Boswell of Lincoln, Neb.; other devoted family and friends. She loved and served her Lord and her family throughout her life. She beautified the lives of those around her through her accomplishments, as a seamstress and through her artistic talents. The family will receive friends at the Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and where funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday. Interment Signal Hill Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
