Isabel Kennedy Sutton

Isabel Kennedy Sutton, 92, a resident of Richmond, Virginia died December 22, 2002. Mrs. Sutton was a daughter of the late John A. and Kerah M. Carter, and was born December 10, 1910 in Augusta County, Virgina. She was a member of Northminster Baptist Chutch. She became very involved in many church activities and other charitable activities, including the Boy's Club. She worked for Traveler's Insurance Co. as a Group Assistant for many years until her retirement in 1976. On November 2, 1935 she married Stephen Gregory Sutton who preceded her in death on October 29, 1994. Also preceding her in death were her seven sisters and four brothers. She is survived by her many nieces and nephews. Her remains rest at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 Parham Road, where her family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday December 26, 2002, and where services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday.
