BANGERT, Jackie H., 65, of Mechanicsville, Va., went to be with the Lord, Friday, July 23, 2021. She is survived by her husband, William Bangert; her mother, Myrtle M. Sauls; her daughter, Chastity Baldwin; son, Joshua Bangert; five grandchildren, Jeremy Baldwin, Addisyn Seay, Ethan Bangert, Makayla Bangert and Sebastian Bangert; her brother, Gary Sauls; and last but not least, two granddogs, Uno and Apollo. Jackie enjoyed several hobbies, including, making crafts, fishing, traveling, nature, watching The Big Bang Theory and multiple gameshows. She was always there to root for any sports teams that her family was on. Taking care of them was her greatest joy. The family will receive friends Friday, July 30, 2021, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Monaghan Funeral Home, 7300 Creighton Pkwy., Mechanicsville, Va. 23111, where a funeral service will be held at 12 noon. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. in Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia, 10300 Pridesville Rd., Amelia Court House, Va. 23002. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the Wounded Warrior Project, The Republican National Committee, or your local SCPA.
