Dear James and Suzanne,
I am so glad that I got to see you and Jackie recently. Now Lovdie and I are saddened with you at your loss. God's love is with you in the thoughts, the prayers, and the hearts of us who care and share in your sorrow. Our prayer for you both is that God will comfort you and fill you with His peace during this difficult time and in the days to come.
"Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you."
I Peter 5:7
If we can be of further comfort to you please call or E-mail us.
With Love and Prayers,

Dearest J.R., Suzanne & Family,
Jackie was such a kind and supportive part of my life. Her relationship with Mom continues to be an example of what friendship means. From helping me pick out my china to being at the hospital when Em was born, I couldn't have asked for a more grounded support system. Anna still sleeps with a blanket she forwarded to me.
But it is the playful side of Jackie that I will remember her by because it always presented itself at the most unusual time. I'll never forget her jumping in the limo at my bachelorette party and going bar hopping with us in '88...and I did love to hear her cuss.
It is a mystery to me as to why I had such a hard time putting lights on the trees around the house, and why for the first time in nineteen years Mark put the lights on the tree. I thought about Jackie. May be she was sending me a message.
We feel so fortunate to have had Jackie in our lives...and I find comfort thinking she is sitting with Mom, having a Coke, by a pool.
With love and enduring friendship,
Lucy Kavanaugh Mathews & Family
