James Richard Condrey

James Richard Condrey, age 77, went to be with his Lord on December 25, 2003. He is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 53 years, Doris T. Condrey; a son, Dr. Michael T. Condrey and his wife, Bonnie, of Poquoson, Va.; two grandchildren, Elizabeth H. Condrey and Lawson T. Condrey, of Holland Patent, N.Y. He was also blessed with three stepgrandchildren, Bradd Clark of Claremore, Okla. and Lori Forrest and Denice Firth of Poquoson, Va. Also surviving are a brother, William C. Condrey and his wife, Iva, of Richmond. Mr. Condrey was retired from the Virginia Retirement System and was a Korean War veteran. He was a longtime member of Asbury Memorial United Methodist Church in Chesterfield County. He was devoted to his family, his church and his friends. A memorial service will be held 4 p.m. Sunday at the Bliley Funeral Homes' Chippenham Chapel, 6900 Hull Street Road. The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Asbury Memorial United Methodist Church, 7151 Belmont Road, Chesterfield, Virginia 23832.
