James Harrison Obituary
November 23, 1966 - May 9, 2025
James Harrison, known to most as "Utley", passed on May 9, 2025. He was a beloved husband to Traci; and loving father to Ross and April. He is also survived by his mother, Mary Harrison; two brothers; and many other family members and friends.
He was an active Mason, a Rotary member, and served on many community boards and committees. He was a strong advocate for trade and vocational education programs, a board member of the VA Manufacturers Association and supported many small businesses.
Visitation with the family will be Friday, May 16, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the Mechanicsville Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee-Davis Road where a memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 17, at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider giving to the Mechanicsville Rotary Foundation or Ashland Masonic Lodge No. 168.
