TO: Candy and the girls:
I just found the guest book. I am sorry to hear of Jim's passing. Please know that there were many times in my life when Jim's kind words and humor made life in Waverly a better place for me. I am thankful for all the visits at his home when I was treated like family.

To all the Pedigo girls, I always dreaded the day I would loose my Dad-we were very close. But when the time came, I knew that if he couldn't be well and himself again, I wouldn't have wanted him on this earth another day. I know the pain right now seems unbearable but that will ease and what will be left are all the GREAT memories. Those will never leave. How lucky you all were to have had such a terrific husband and father-most will never know the love you have known. We will all continue to love him and miss him, and cherish his memory.

Candy, Lindsey, Ashby, and Kelsey, I was saddened to hear of Jim's passing. I know he fought a good fight. I have many good memories, practically growing up in your house. I remember helping Jim feed the dogs, and going to all the ball games. I hope time and prayers will heal the sorrow of losing him. Love to you all.

Words seem so inadequate at times like these. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. That little baby sure will have one heck of a guardian angel in her corner.

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Be Still
Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.
Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.
If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.
