Janet Huff Obituary
On Sunday, April 20, 2025, the Lord welcomed home a true southern belle, Janet Louise Huff, 81, of Hanover, VA, who passed away following a short illness.
Janet loved and enjoyed gardening, beautiful flowers, country music, and a good cup of coffee!
She cherished everyone she met, but most dear to her heart were her family and friends who loved her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Huff, Sr; her parents, Samuel Powell, Sr and Sudie Margaret Archer; and her eldest son, Robert Lee Huff, II.
She is survived by her son, Randy L. Huff and his wife, LaWana; three grandchildren, Brandon C. Huff, Robert Lee Huff, III, and Mikayla Pham; her sister, Barbara Ann Talbot Holder; and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She will be missed immensely by all who have had the pleasure of getting to know her.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at the West Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, April 28, 2025, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to your local charity.

Your mother was a patient of mind whom I grew to know and adore. We kept in touch and had not spoke recently. I reached out at the holidays and did not hear back. I was saddened to find this upon searching her name. She was a true blessing to be around. Such a joy and so kind and giving. My deepest condolences. I am so sorry I was not there to be part of her final days.

Randy, Barbara Ann, and Family, my deepest condolences to all of you. I worked with Janet at Memco. We reconnected at a Memco reunion she hosted at her home a couple years ago. We have had many visits and talks since then. She has always been a joy to be around. She was a great friend. She always carried herself with grace. Her family was her life. Y'all meant everything to her. I will always cherish our friendship and will always remember that laugh when she got so tickled over something that was said. Godspeed my good friend.....
