Jeffrey Conley

Jeffrey "Anastassy" Conley, 70, of Ashland, passed away on January 8, 2026. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Roger Conley and Claudette Runyan Conley. Graduated from Amelia High School in Ohio in 1973 and studied A/V tech and history later in life. He retired from Randolph-Macon College, holding various positions during his 17 year tenure. He loved rock music, playing guitar, singing, documentaries, action movies, history, and attending concerts with his son. He dutifully attended services as a Reader and Choir member of St. Seraphim of Sarov Orthodox Church in Glen Allen. He is survived by his son, Jeffrey Neil Conley; brothers and sisters, Jimmy and Cindy Conley, Karen Blake, Becky Revalee, Tim "Tim Bob" Conley, and Cheryl Hunt; and many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Roger and Claudette; brother, John Mark Conley; great-aunts, Barbara Jo, Lynne Bailey, Karen Ernestine; and his beloved brother-in-law, Russell "Rusty" Hunt.

Funeral Services will be held at St. Seraphim of Sarov Orthodox Church, 11009 Old Washington Hwy, Glen Allen, VA 23059, on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, tax-deductible memorial donations may be made by check to St. Seraphim of Sarov Orthodox Church and mailed to the aforementioned address.
