Jeffrey Hunter Farris

FARRIS, Jeffrey Hunter, 57, of Amelia, Va. went to be with the Lord on December 29, 2022. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Hunter Farris; father-in-law, Richard A. Smith; and brother-in-law, Alfred Loving. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Zina Farris; children, Haley Snow (Roy) and Ian Farris (Savannah Morgan); grandchildren, Clayton and Mallory Snow; mother, Marguerite Farris; siblings, Michael Farris and Rilla Price; mother-in-law, Marjorie Smith; brother-in-law, Ronald Loving (Debbie); sister-in-law, Theresa Mullins (Tony); and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews as well as a host of close friends that are like family. He loved spending time with his family and friends, especially being active in his grandchildren's lives. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping as well as coaching football and baseball. He had a big heart and was often called a "gentle giant". He was always there for his family and friends. The family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at Bliley's-Chippenham, 6900 Hull Street Rd. where a funeral ceremony will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 11, 2023. Interment to follow at Dale Memorial Park.
