JESSE BLEVINS Memoriam
loving memory of my son, Jesse Lewis Blevins. My son Jesse was born June 11, 1979 and died at the age of 19 on October 30, 1998 due to a boy driving a car much too fast causing the car to hit a tree and crash. Jesse was in the back seat, another boy was a passenger in the front seat, who also died. The boy driving, he still lives. I loved and cherished Jesse as a baby, laughed and protected him as a toddler, encouraged and taught him as a young boy, worried and fretted when he was a teenager, adored and respected him as a young man. No one could make me laugh as hard as my son could. And the girls, they all loved him. Couldn't count the many friends he had. Jesse brought so much joy to everyone that knew him. He was a wonderful son, I was the one who was blessed to be his mother. He was my strength when I was weak, my voice when I couldn't speak, my eyes when I couldn't see. Lifted me up when I couldn't reach, gave me Faith when I needed it, I'm everything I am because he loved me. I want the world to know, because I want them to never forget. Though not from the area, passing through, I was drawn to this stone and the words. I had to research Jesse's name and why. I'm heartbroken for his mom.
