Joan Brown Obituary

BROWN, Joan Carole, 80, of N. Chesterfield, Va., beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, went to be with our Lord God and Heavenly Father on Tuesday, January 26, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Hilda Bargert; and brother, Ronnie Bargert. Joan will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Robert Brown; daughters, Cheryl Brown, Catherine Brown and Carole Bolen (Steven); grandchildren, Catherine Ashley Holzschuh (Andrew), Robert and Elizabeth Bolen; great-grandchildren, Annabelle and Cooper Holzschuh; and sister, Dolores Yesh, among numerous others. Funeral services are private and she will be placed at Arlington Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of sending flowers, please donate to your favorite charity in Joan's memory.

I think about her all the time I miss her smile and the way she made me laugh and have a good time every time we were together. I will see her in heaven.

Joan was a once in a lifetime friend. We met at water aerobics and were partners. Meeting Joan help me to adjust to retirement. We always had a blast. We would race each other and she would win. We would share our family stories. She was always there for me. I have a couple things she quilted for me to cherish. I will miss her but looking forward to seeing her in heaven. She loved Bob and her family very much.
