My brother Franklin Sr, Willette and Franklin Perkins Jr. My heart still aches for you all. Jon was one in a million. He would call just to ask if I was okay. Whenever I saw him he gave the best hugs. He´s missed by so many people but I´m sure you all, his immediate family miss him most. I pray God continues to comfort and strengthen you as only he can during this time and the days, months and years to come. Big sis. Loves you all.

I’m truly blessed to have known and grown up with him. growing up in the church gives you many cousins and siblings, but jon was a big brother i’ll never forget. A such contagious and loving smile, and aroma that could turn a grey cloud sunny. For the memories that we shared will never leave my heart but forever leave a footprint! I’ll love you forever!

My sincere condolences to the entire family. I met Jonathan a few short weeks ago, at the wedding reception of his cousin, LaShaun and my niece Deanna. What a vibrant young man, with a firm handshake, a huge smile, full of joy, dancing vicariously and full of life. That’s how I will remember him. I just met Jonathan 3-4 weeks ago as he sub'd for Spring Creek on keys. Great dude and musician. At the end of service he came and sat behind the kit. I was like ok keys and drums. We exchanged fb to keep in touch. I shocked and sadden to see the news on fb. Will definitely keep his family in my prayers.

Jon, my Handsome Cousin/Son I don’t know how life will be without your Love, Smile, and Laughter. You are definitely the epitome of genuine love ❤. I’ve watched you grow in so many aspects of your life from playing the drums ( what you really loved to do) to playing the keyboard ( I would always text you during Service and tell you boy them fingers are ANOINTED) and even singing (your hidden talent) that I always try to get you to do) and your growth in Christ.
