Joseph Terrell Obituary
Joe was predeceased by his beloved wife of 67 years, Janet; son, Nelson; grandson, Lee, his brothers, Moncrieff Jr., Alan, and Charles; sisters, Juanita, Mabel, Jacqueline, and Doris; and brother-in-law, Bill Boykin.
Joe will be greatly missed by his sons, Steve (Kathy) and Jimmy (Karen); daughter, Susan; grandchildren Aubrey (Valerie), Casey(Allen), Autumn (Lawrence), Eli, Callie (Clint), and Sam; seven great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Jean Boykin; and a large extended family.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude for the excellent and loving care provided by devoted caregivers Joyce Hunter and Umekia Shearin.
Visitation is from12-1 p.m. on October 28 at Bliley's-Chippenham, 6900 Hull Street Road, followed by a service at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.

Mr. Terrell was my boss when I first came to work at Vepco in 1968. They do not make understand and kind men like this anymore. After he retired he ask me to start calling him Joe.........I tired, really did but I told him I can't Mr. Terrell. He is one of my fondest memories of working at Vepco. God speed Joe.

I was a teenager when I went to work for Vepco. Joe was one of the first people I met that was so kind and helpful to a young lad who did not have very much work experience.I wish Companies today had mentors the likes of Joe. Also, had many enjoyable years of playing with Joe on the Vepco softball teams . RIP Joe, you will be missed.

My condolences to the Terrell Family. whom i had the Honor to service.mr joe Terrell was one the most kind ,pleasant easiest individual to care for his warm.spirit and beautiful smile i often looked forward too .with such Loving supportive children steve , Susan and Jimmy ,made providing service to this family an wonderful experience.
