Joyce Lee Tibbs

TIBBS, Joyce Lee, 91, of Henrico, went to her heavenly home on Monday, April 26, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest L. Tibbs. Joyce was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church and the Glendale Ruritan Club. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Diane T. Owens (Wayne) and Denise T. Webster (Ron); stepson, Forrest L. Tibbs Jr. (Linda); numerous grandchildren, including Ronnie Webster (Kate) and Alex Webster; several great-grandchildren; and her brother, Jim Lee (Betty). The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 2, 2021 and Monday, May 3, 2021 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231, where a service will be held on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at 12 p.m. Interment will follow in Washington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, Illinois 60601.
