Judy S. Maher, 72, of Moseley, Virginia, was called home to be with the Lord on November 5th, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, whose warmth, kindness, and boundless love touched all who knew her.
Judy is survived by her beloved husband, James Ignatius Maher Sr.; their son, James Ignatius Maher Jr.; and her cherished grandchildren, James Michael Maher and Jenna Lilah Maher. Judy found immense joy in traveling on cruise ships, and shared this passion with her family, creating lifelong memories. She also delighted in spending time with her grandchildren, introducing Jenna to her own love of diamond painting.
Her generosity of spirit, love for her family, and nurturing nature will be forever remembered. Judy's presence in our lives will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
A funeral Mass will be held at Saint Gabriel Catholic Church, 8901 Winterpock Road, at 10:30 a.m. on December 11th, 2024.

We worked with Judy for years and always delighted in her funny stories. Whenever I visited Kroger, I always looked for her to share what had been going on lately. I will never go into that store again without thinking about you Judy and how much my daughter and I will miss seeing you there. We love you.
