Justin Butler Obituary
Departed this life on January 25, 2025. Justin "Jay" Lee Butler Jr., age 21, of Richmond. He is survived by his mother, Erica Stovall (Edward); his father, Justin Lee Butler Sr.; maternal grandparents, Kim and Tara Davis; paternal grandmother, Bonnie Harris; paternal grandfather, Alphonso Butler(Jannie); maternal great grandparents, Earl and Joan Jeter; paternal great grandfather, George Harris Sr.; three sisters, Ny'Angel Stovall, Chloe Washington, and Alaysia Taylor; four brothers, J'Air and J'Heem Jeter, Edward Stovall and Arian Butler; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends, among them his fiancé, Tashema Craig.
Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue, where Mr. Butler can be viewed on Thursday, February 6, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. on Friday, February 7, 2025, at Rising Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 2705 Hartman Street, where remains will lie in state one hour prior to the funeral time. Dr. Roscoe Cooper III (pastor). Rev. Dr. C. Diane Mosby (eulogy). Interment St. James Cemetery, Varina. Family and friends assemble at the church at 11:45 a.m. on Friday.
