Kathy Schultheis Obituary

SCHULTHEIS, Kathy Rasnick, went to be with her Lord on Friday, November 23, 2007. We will always remember her strength of spirit, kindness, and love of family and friends. We were all blessed to know and love her. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, David Schultheis; her daughters, Katherine and Sarah Schultheis, of whom we are so proud; her parents, John and Lucille Rasnick; her sister and brother-in-law, Marsha and Ralph Costen; her brother, Nick Rasnick and his friend, Nancy Moore; sister-in-law, Sue Rasnick; sister-in-law and her husband, Malinda and Mark Taylor; brother-in-law, John Schultheis and wife, Pam; her lifelong friends, Debbie and Joe Geisel; her nephews, Tripp Costen and wife, Jill, Will Schultheis, Matt Schultheis, Brent Schultheis, Marshall Rasnick, Rally Costen; and her nieces, Logan Taylor, Cate Taylor, Laura Rasnick and Currie Costen. A visitation will be held from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, November 25 at Bliley's-Central, 3801 Augusta Ave. The memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Monday, November 26 at Second Baptist Church, 9614 River Rd. In lieu of flowers, gifts can be made to Second Baptist Church, where the people have been wonderful to us. To Hampden-Sydney College, where we met, fell in love, and always felt young, or to an animal protection charity of your choice for her little friends.

To Kathy's family: My deepest sympathies to all of you. Kathy and I went through grade school together, having met one another in first grade. We were very good friends during those early elementary years. I'll always remember her bright smile and friendly personality. Kathy was one of the sweetest people I've ever known.
