Larry Allgood Obituary

ALLGOOD, Larry Archer, left this world on March 8, 2022. He peacefully passed away surrounded by family. Born in South Hill, Va., on June 19, 1937, Larry learned the value of hard work at an early age, working on his family's farm and eventually leaving home to travel the east coast to run many factories. Never afraid of a challenge, Larry could build an operation from the ground-up in a hurry. He was a man of never-wavering faith and is with the Lord now. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Louise, who is happy to have him back by her side; his daughter, Hazel; and many other family members. He leaves behind his son, Charles; his granddaughter, Caroline; his grandson, Joshua; beloved great-grandchildren and multitudes of family members, friends and well-wishers. Larry will be celebrated on March 16 at 1 p.m. at Bliley's - Chippenham, with an interment in Dale Memorial Park to follow. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Larry's favorite charity, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Larry and I were classmates at South Hill High School. So sad to learn of his death. May God be with each member of his family in the months ahead without him. Lots of love to you all.
