I will always remember Lawrence as a kind, wise, and polished gentleman. During our time working together at Wachovia/Wells Fargo bank, every interaction with him was uplifting. He was always willing to help, no matter the request, and carried himself with such professionalism and grace. Every so often, I would get to see his beautiful wife, Dee Dee, and it was clear the two of them made a truly remarkable couple. Lawrence spoke often and with such pride about his sons, sharing pictures and stories that lit up his face. He was a great giant of a man, leaving a legacy of warmth, dignity, and love. I am so deeply sorry he is gone too soon, but his impact will not be forgotten.

Lawrence was such a compassionate and kind man. We pioneered together at Central National Bank. He was an outstanding banker and all his clients loved him. He was one of the finest people I have ever known. Sending the family my deepest condolences at this difficult time. May you find comfort and strength in all the memories you shared together. Rest in Gods arms my friend.

I am heart broken for this family. DD, Lawrence was my ATM partner back in the early days of banking. The only man who could show up on an emergency call, 100 degree heat, looking cool calm & collected while I was in complete melt down! "Mr. GQ" always made everything look easy. Rest well, my dear friend.
