Lenora "Lea" McKee

October 1, 1951 - February 28, 2025

Lenora "Lea" McKee of Louisa County, Va passed away February 28, 2025 at the age of 73. She was born on October 1, 1951, the second of 12 children in Norfolk, Va.

She is predeceased by Daughter Heather McKee-Atkins and is survived by Daughters' Kathryn McKee, Rebecca Kutsmeda (Steve Kutsmeda). Grandchildren Dara Adkins, Jacob Kutsmeda, Alex Kutsmeda, five Sisters, two brothers & numerous Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.

She had a great love of ALL animals. She put her heart and soul into rescuing animals since childhood. She had a great love for horses and was a trophy and ribbon winner in many rodeos. She was a creative writer, artist, and created beautiful leatherwork. She was a wonderful seamstress and an expert in embroidery. She put her heart into everything she created and cared for.

She had very deep love in her heart for her children, family, and close friends. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

The family will hold a private service for "Lea".

In lieu of flowers, those who wish to contribute can do so to the animal rescue organization of choice or the Lyme Disease Association.

I am so sorry to hear of Lea´s passing. We always had a great time at the horse shows and rodeos. My dad loved you and enjoyed riding horses with you as did I. You are in heaven with him now. Prayers for your family.
