Linda Cook Obituary

COOK, Linda Shannon, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 9, 2023. She was a graduate of Varina High School and Radford University with a degree in social work. Her parents are Linda Ellis Cook and John Oscar Cook, Jr. (deceased). She is survived by her mother; her beloved son, Matthew Gavin Cook; her brother, Daniel Ellis Cook (Shannon); and three nieces, Alice, Madison and Sally. She loved her family, especially her son. She also loved country music, her cats and the Miami Dolphins. There will be a private service in the fall, which was her favorite season. Donations in her memory may be made to: Blessing Warriors, RVA, P. O. Box 344, Highland Springs, Virginia 23075. Online condolences may be made at www.nelsenrichmond.com.
