Lou Vaughan Obituary

Mrs. Lou Seamster Vaughan, 70, widow of Howard A. Vaughan, died Friday night October 28, 2005 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Frank E. and Gracie Jackson Seamster. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Helen Vaughan and Delmas Mann; a grandson, Jason Daniel Mann, all of Charlotte Court House. She is also survived by sisters, Augusta Hood of Lunenburg Court House and Alice Coleman; and a brother, Earl Seamster, both of Farmville. Lou was predeceased by sisters and a brother, Mildred Overstreet, Elnora Guthrie and Arthur "L.C." Seamster. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, 11 a.m. at Farmville Baptist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Dr. Michael Cheuk and Rev. Susan Joyce. The family will receive friends at Mrs. Vaughan's residence in Farmville Tuesday night 6 to 8 p.m. You may make memorial contributions to Farmville Baptist Church, 132 North Main Street, Farmville, Va. 23901. Arrangements are by Cremation Society of Virginia. You may express condolences at www.virginiacremation.com.
