Dear Lou,
I am sorry you have had to experience the death of your mother.(My mother, Blanche Wooten, died in 2003; even though she was 97, it has really left me bereft. She was the best person I ever knew.) I just wanted to get in touch with you and to offer my condolences; it has been so many years. I remember our good times together with gladness and enjoyed you so much in high school. I would love to hear from you. My husband, Walt, has had a heart attack and has 4 stents. We have a daughter (Kim) and a son (Drew); she is a UMC minister and he is an architect. We have 3 beautiful grandchildren. I am an Episcopal priest now. My love and sympathy to you and Garland and Laura.
Faithfully, Carolyn+
