August 28, 1933 - July 22, 2025
Maria Magdalena Mansfield, 91, passed away peacefully Tuesday July 22, 2025. She was predeceased by her parents, Franz Paul and Maria; daughter, Patricia; son, Robert; and husband, Richard. She is survived by her sister, Dorothea; brother, Willi; daughter-in-law, Tammy; three granddaughters; cousins; nieces and nephews. Maria was compassionate, generous, tenacious and courageous, living life to the fullest.
A memorial service will be held 10 a.m., Thursday, August 28, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 1100 W. Grace St. Interment will be private in Richmond National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Support One, 2122 W. Laburnum Ave., Suite C, Richmond, VA 23227.
