BRILL, May Nuckols, 95, of Henrico, passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, December 4, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Dudley A. Brill; and her son, Dudley A. Brill Jr.; and is survived by her children, Martin L. Brill (Sande Snead), Diane B. Sneed (Robert), John E. Brill, Elizabeth A. Brill (Evan Esch); grandchildren, Michelle Schmidt, Maggie Brill, Katie Pendleton, Archer Brill, Eliana Brill Esch, Eli Brill Esch; five great-grandchildren and a large circle of extended family and friends. May was born and raised in Short Pump, Va. and was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend who will be missed by all. The family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, December 8 at the West Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 11020 W. Broad St. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, December 9 at the old chapel at Shady Grove U.M.C., 4825 Pouncey Tract Rd. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in her name to any veterans' charity of your choice. The family would like to extend gratitude to the caregivers for mom's wonderful care.
