Mildred Pittman Lucy

Mildred Pittman Lucy, 85, went to be with her Father in heaven on Sunday morning, July 9, 2006 in Richmond, Va. She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Allen L. Lucy; her son, Jon Allen Lucy and his wife, Dianne Hagood Lucy; her daughter, Diane Lucy Wrick and her husband, Varley L. Wrick III; two grandchildren, Brian Lucy and his wife, Amy and Karen Lucy McManus and her husband, Jay; and three great-grandchildren, Tyler Lucy, Kaylee Lucy, and Aiden McManus; one brother, Bill Pittman; one sister, Frances Britt; and one nephew, Bob Britt. In addition to being a loving wife, mother and grandmother, she was a Sunday school teacher at First Baptist Church. She was a member of the Bonoth class and an assistant for the Sunday evening Koinonia High School group. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the Woody Funeral Home Parham Chapel, 1771 N. Parham Rd. Services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church, Monument and Boulevard. Interment Riverview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to your favorite charity.
